Gina D the peace of serenity

Psychology Consultant

Gina D. MA

Gina is originally from the Chicagoland area where she earned her Masters in Psychology from National Louis University (NLU) in 2018. Currently, Gina is working toward completing her clinical psychology doctoral degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology (ISPP) at NLU in Chicago. Throughout Gina’s graduate school education, she gained four years of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting where she provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with severe mental illnesses. Her exposure to the inpatient population facilitated Gina’s dissertation research, which focuses on verbal de-escalation techniques for those experiencing a range of psychotic symptoms.

For the last two years, Gina has expanded her skill set to the private practice setting, where she continues to provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and adults. Throughout her clinical experience, Gina has discovered the importance of meeting her clients where they are emotionally, and providing them the tools and support to heal at their own pace.

During her free time, Gina likes to play Pokemon TCG and watch true crime documentaries with her 3 cats, Smokey, Bandit, and Geralt.
